Friends in The City

One of the best things about living in The City (San Francisco if you have not been following along) is that friends actually enjoy coming to visit us. We enjoy when friends stop by. So if you are reading this and want to visit The City (or just get a meal with us) let us know. We can show you around. In this post we have a trip to Hog Island Oyster Co. on Tamales Bay, A poker road trip and visitors from So Cal.

Here is a shot of me taken by a friend. I sometimes hit the local watering hole on Friday Night with friends and co-workers.

In July we hit Tamales Bay again. This time we brought along Ed and Serena. It was a ton of fun

We also invited Matt and Deanna.

It was an amazing day with great weather and all.

One night it was really foggy so I decided to take a few shots on our block. This was the best one.

We looked at a condo we couldn't quite afford and this was the view looking down.

Our friends Doug and Julie (our trip to their wedding was here) came up to visit us. We started at The Tonga Room.

Then we went to Vesuvio Cafe'.

We sat up top so I could take pictures down on the bar.

Doug and I in front of Vesuvio.

I took this while we were walking to dinner at the Ferry Building.

They stayed at the La Meridian. It was fantastic.

Here is a shot I took in the lobby.

On Sunday we went to Sunday Streets in The Mission. They wanted to visit a few food places while they were here. Dynamo Donuts was one of them.

Here is a typical SF gent enjoying Dynamo.

Doughnut makin' ain't easy.

Oh a reflection in the fancy coffee machine!

Donna and I at Dynamo.

We also got awesome ice cream at Humphry Slocombe.

Some roller disco dudes blocked off part of the street and did their roller discoing.

Some street art in The Mission

I was able to rent a car and take a road trip to a Poker Room. Here is the road trip part.

Here is the Poker Room part. I played at Cache Creek and got another poker chip for my collection.

That's it for this post but I have a few more ready to go. Check back in a bit.
