May so soon?

Hey all,

Hi again. Work has been busy. I hit my one year mark in San Francisco on April 9th. Donna will hit her one year mark next week. We have been doing as much as we can in between working weekends. We have recently attended the De Young Museum and purchased a year pass, we went to the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japan Town, we went to Ocean Beach for a picnic sushi lunch, we have been to many restaurants and we also downloaded an audio tour of the Barbary Coast and walked the first 3rd of it while we listened to it. Oh and I got to go play poker for the first time in about a year.

We will be attending the Indy 4 Premier and then a nice banquet here shortly. We are looking forward to that very much. We will also be attending the Maker Fair tomorrow. It will give us a chance to ride CalTrain for the first time. Oh and I also picked up a new camera. I am loving it. It's an Canon 5D. You may notice some of my pictures now have blurred backgrounds. Being able to control your aperture really helps you take better pictures. Speaking of pictures.....

Living a carfree life

I didn't misspell that. We sold our last car the other day. We now rely on public transit and Zipcar.com. We are saving the monthly parking fee which is good and it's just easier.

I have been working a lot. We are down to the last few weeks on the game and things are coming together. It is getting very exciting. Here are some press links with videos so you can get an idea of what I am working on.

We were lucky enough to have a visitor a couple of week ago. Our friend Darrin came out and we had a great time running around town. Timing was great because WonderCon was going on so we were able to go to that. They like the Lucas employees so they let us in for free along with guests.

I have not taken as many pictures recently but here are the highlights.

January already?

My how time flies. Work has been great. We have hit some key milestones and things are coming together. I think the big media blitz will start at the end of this month. Be on the look out for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed articles.

Christmas break was great. Donna was able to take some time off and we went into tourist mode. We saw quite a few things that we hadn't had time to see. There is so little time and so much to do. We are also still eating at all kinds of different restaurants. So my last photos left off with Thanksgiving and the Lucas Family Holiday Party so that means that we haven't covered Christmas, Christmas Break or New Years. Here is what you all want. Pictures!

Happy New Year! We saw this on our walk New Year's Morning. I guess sometimes when you just make it home it is a victory.

This is in the Premier Theater on the LucasFilm campus. We have our team meetings there and this was playing on the big screen as we waited for the rest of the team to show up.

I Eat Crab!

Jeff and I went to a new beer place over the break. It was good!

I liked both so much I had to post both. Boredom on the Bus

She was startled when the bus started moving. I'm not sure what she was expecting...

Merry Christmas from Jon and Donna! We didn't have enough room for a tree so we bought a wreath and decorated it.

We went to Baker Beach to BBQ for Christmas. We BBQ'd for 1.5 hours, choked down cold food for 20 mins and then packed up and ran for warmth. It was fun!

People find interesting places to put their trees when the are done with them.

See Above comment.

There was a dress like Santa Bar Crawl one night while we happened to be in the Union Square Area

More wierd places for a Christmas Tree

and lastly a nice shot of the Grace Cathedral during Christmas time

Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Keep coming back. There will be more from time to time.
