One A Day - On This Day in 2005

Orange CA In My Scanner

On this day in 2005 I scanned these cool instructions. Who knew that once you master chopsticks, you can lift anything....ANYTHING! Think of the possibilities.

One A Day - On This Day in 2003

Huntington Beach CA Dog Beach

On this day the camera played tricks on our eyes. Dennis is actually quite a bit larger than our dog Tom but the camera makes this harmless moment seem like a scene from Jurassic Park. RUN DENNIS!!!

One A Day - Not really on this day

Point Reyes CA

On this day I didn't document anything interesting so I have dug deep into the past and posted a scanned photo from the past. My first trip to San Francisco as an adult was for business. A co-worker and friend of mine came up to visit Sega for a code review. We were given a bonus day up here because of our hard work so we went to Point Reyes and took photos of the light house. This is one of my favorite shots from that trip. Since then I have returned to Point Reyes a few times but have never been able to recreate this shot.

One A Day - On This Day in 2009

San Francisco CA AT&T Park

On this day in 2009 Donna and I attended a Giants game. It's a great ballpark to visit even if you are only semi interested in Baseball.

One A Day - Not really on this day in 1999

Anaheim CA Disneyland

Apparently I didn't do anything photo worthy today so here is a photo I took on my last day when we were getting the Matterhorn Bobsleds ready to open. Part of the procedure is to cycle the sleds through the mountain a few times to get them warmed up. As they warm up the grease in the wheels heats up and becomes more efficient and the sleds speed up. When the sleds are empty and cold they don't have enough speed to make it through the lagoon so you have to catch them and push them over the final hump. This is what Dan and Steve are doing in this shot. It's a really nice and quiet time before things get hectic. This morning was particularly calm and foggy which adds to the photo.
