On this day in 2009 we had just gotten back from Nebraska and I wanted to take a photo of my new poker chips I had recently acquired. Foxy our cat wouldn't allow the photo to be taken without him. The other day Donna and I brewed the beer kit she got me for my birthday. We boiled up the wort and put it in Mr. Beer. It needs to sit for 2 weeks before it's bottled so we put the knitted mantis on it to protect it. We don't want anyone stealing our 2 gallons of beer before it's ready.

On this day in 2009 I was in Nebraska for a family reunion and there was a place to play poker within driving distance. You know what that means right? Yea I hopped in the rental car as the reunion party died down and played a bit of poker. I like to get a poker chip from each casino I play at so on this night I added to my collection.
